Leah couldn’t resist the offer to skydive with some of the world’s best military parachuting teams. Her cameraman, Nick Porter, had the real challenge of trying to catch it all on tape from 10,000 feet (with audio!) Talk about a one take wonder.


QATAR WORLD CUP 2022

Doha featured the world's first fully reusable FIFA World Cup football stadium. The containers used to build it were shipped to other countries after the games to make new, smaller stadiums. Al Jazeera's Leah Harding was at the site when some of the first shipments arrived.

Behind the coronavirus outbreak of China, there are thousands of nurses, mainly women, who paid a very heavy price.


ETHIOPIA COUP ATTEMPT

Leah was the first international correspondent to go live in Ethiopia during the attempted coup in 2019. During the uprising, Ethiopia’s military chief and four other government officials were killed. The Prime Minister called those responsible ‘mercenaries’.

Meet Thor. He recently became the first human to visit every country in the world without getting on an airplane, or returning home. He couldn’t do it without some serious willpower and one of the strongest passports on the planet. Leah met up with him during his stop in Qatar.


KHASHOGGI MURDER

Journalist Jamal Khashoggi was murdered inside the Saudi Arabian consulate in Istanbul in October 2018. His death attracted global attention, highlighting press freedom and the seemingly untouchable power of the kingdom.
